Pentan プライバシーポリシー

株式会社appful（以下「当社」）は、iOS アプリ「Pentan（ぺんたん）」（以下「本アプリ」）における利用者の情報の取り扱いについて、以下のとおりプライバシーポリシーを定めます。

1. アカウント登録は必要ありません

本アプリの利用にアカウント登録は必要ありません。当社は、本アプリを通じて利用者の氏名、メールアドレス、電話番号、住所などの個人情報を収集しません。ログイン機能もありません。

2. 学習データの保存場所

学習の進捗、単語ごとの習熟度、獲得した★、XP、ストリーク、設定などのデータは、すべてお使いの端末内にのみ保存されます（SwiftData を使用）。これらのデータが当社のサーバーやクラウドへ送信されることはありません。

そのため、本アプリを削除すると端末内の学習データも削除され、当社が復元することはできません。端末を機種変更した場合も、学習データは引き継がれません。

3. 利用状況の分析について

本アプリは、機能の改善と不具合の把握のために、Google LLC が提供する Firebase Analytics を利用します（プロジェクト名: appful-pentan）。送信されるのは、たとえば「オンボーディングを終えた」「最初のレッスンをクリアした」「ライフが尽きた」といった利用状況のイベントと、それに付随する数値（★の数、正答率、消化問題数など）です。

本アプリは、送信できる値を数値・真偽値・あらかじめ決められた選択肢の 3 種類に限定しています。自由入力の文字列を送る仕組みそのものを持たないため、次のものは構造上送信されません。

4. アプリ設定の取得について

本アプリは、アプリの動作に必要な設定を配信するために Google の Firebase Remote Config を利用します。取得するのは、安全にご利用いただくために必要な最低アプリバージョン、および広告の表示可否・表示頻度などの設定値です。この通信によって当社が利用者の個人情報を取得することはありません。

5. 広告について

本アプリは無料でご利用いただくため、Google LLC が提供する広告配信サービス「Google AdMob」を利用して広告を表示します。AdMob は広告の配信・効果測定・不正防止のために、以下のような情報を自動的に取得・利用することがあります。

これらの情報は広告事業者（Google）が自ら取得・利用するものです。取り扱いの詳細は、前項に挙げた Google のプライバシーポリシーおよびパートナーサイトのページをご確認ください。なお、サブスクリプションにご加入中は広告を表示しません。

6. トラッキングの許可（ATT）について

iOS のトラッキング透明性（App Tracking Transparency）の枠組みに基づき、本アプリはトラッキングの許可を求めるダイアログを表示します。許可された場合にのみ、広告識別子（IDFA）を用いたパーソナライズ広告が配信されます。

許可しない場合でも、本アプリのすべての学習機能をこれまでどおりご利用いただけます（この場合はパーソナライズされていない広告が表示されます）。設定は iOS の「設定」＞「プライバシーとセキュリティ」＞「トラッキング」からいつでも変更できます。また、広告の効果測定のために Apple の SKAdNetwork を利用します。

7. 通知について

本アプリは、学習時間のお知らせやストリークが途切れそうなときのお知らせのために、通知を利用します。これらはすべて端末内で予約されるローカル通知であり、当社のサーバーから配信するものではありません。通知の受け取りは iOS の「設定」からいつでも変更できます。

8. サブスクリプション（課金）について

本アプリのサブスクリプションの購入・決済は、Apple の App Store（Apple アカウント）を通じて行われます。決済処理は Apple が行い、当社がクレジットカード情報などの決済情報を取得することはありません。購入状態の確認は Apple の StoreKit の仕組みを通じて端末上で行われます。

9. 本アプリが利用しない情報

本アプリは、以下の情報および機能を利用しません。iOS の許可ダイアログが表示されるのは、前記のトラッキングの許可と通知の許可のみです。

また、本アプリには利用者どうしが投稿・交流する機能がなく、利用者が作成したコンテンツを公開することはありません。単語の発音は端末内の音声合成機能で再生され、音声データが外部へ送信されることはありません。

10. 国外への移転

前記の Firebase Analytics、Firebase Remote Config、AdMob を提供する Google LLC は米国に所在します。これらのサービスが取得する情報は、日本国外へ移転され、同社のプライバシーポリシーに従って取り扱われます。

11. 第三者への提供

当社が利用者の個人情報を第三者へ提供・販売・貸与することはありません。広告配信および分析に伴う情報の取得・利用は、前記のとおり各サービス提供者が自ら行うものです。

12. お子様のプライバシー

本アプリは、お子様を主たる対象としたサービスではありません。広告は年齢に適した内容となるよう設定しています。

13. ポリシーの変更

本ポリシーの内容を変更する場合は、本ページにて改定後の内容をお知らせします。重要な変更を行う場合は、あわせてアプリ内で告知します。

Pentan Privacy Policy

appful Inc. ("we", "us") provides this privacy policy for the iOS app "Pentan" (the "App").

1. No account is required

No account is required to use the App. We do not collect personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or postal address through the App, and there is no sign-in.

2. Where your learning data is stored

Your progress, per-word mastery, stars, XP, streaks, and settings are stored only on your device (using SwiftData). None of this data is transmitted to our servers or to any cloud service.

Because of that, deleting the App deletes this data, and we cannot restore it. It also does not transfer when you change devices.

3. Usage analytics

To improve the App and detect problems, we use Firebase Analytics (Google LLC), in a project named appful-pentan. What is sent are usage events — for example "onboarding finished", "first lesson completed", "lives ran out" — together with accompanying numbers such as the number of stars, the accuracy percentage, and how many questions were answered.

The App restricts the values it can send to three kinds: numbers, booleans, and a fixed set of predefined options. It has no mechanism for sending free-form text at all, so the following are structurally impossible to send:

4. Remote configuration

The App uses Google Firebase Remote Config to retrieve settings it needs to operate: the minimum app version required for safe use, and whether and how often ads are shown. We do not collect personal information through this.

5. Advertising

To keep the App free, we display ads through Google AdMob (Google LLC). AdMob may automatically collect and use the following to serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud:

6. App Tracking Transparency

Under Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework, the App presents a tracking permission prompt. Personalized ads using the IDFA are served only if you grant permission.

If you decline, every learning feature of the App remains fully available and you will see non-personalized ads instead. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Tracking. We also use Apple's SKAdNetwork for ad measurement.

7. Notifications

The App can remind you when it is time to study and when your streak is about to break. These are local notifications scheduled on your device; they are not sent from our servers. You can change notification settings at any time in iOS Settings.

8. Subscriptions

Subscription purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details. Purchase entitlements are verified on-device via Apple's StoreKit.

9. What the App does not use

The App does not use any of the following. The only iOS permission prompts it shows are the tracking prompt and the notification prompt described above.

The App also has no social or posting features, and never publishes content you create. Pronunciation is produced by the device's built-in speech synthesis, so no audio is sent anywhere.

10. Transfers outside Japan

Google LLC, which provides Firebase Analytics, Firebase Remote Config, and AdMob, is located in the United States. Information collected by those services is transferred outside Japan and handled under Google's privacy policy.

11. Third parties

We do not provide, sell, or lend personal information to third parties. Data collected for advertising and analytics is collected by those providers themselves, as described above.

12. Children's privacy

The App is not directed primarily at children. Ads are configured to be age-appropriate.

13. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the updated version on this page, and announce significant changes in the App as well.
