Pentan 利用規約

1. 適用
本規約は、株式会社appful（以下「当社」）が提供する iOS アプリ「Pentan（ぺんたん）」（以下「本アプリ」）の利用条件を定めるものです。利用者は、本規約に同意したうえで本アプリを利用するものとします。
2. アカウント
本アプリの利用にアカウント登録は必要ありません。当社は、利用者の氏名・メールアドレス等によるアカウントを作成しません。学習の記録は利用者の端末内に保存されます（詳細はプライバシーポリシーをご確認ください）。
3. サブスクリプション
- 本アプリには、自動更新のサブスクリプション（有料プラン）があります。購入・決済は Apple の App Store を通じて行われます。
- 有料プランが提供するのは、広告の非表示、ライフ（レッスンに挑戦するための回数。無料でも時間の経過で回復します）の待ち時間の解消、およびストリークフリーズの定期付与です。
- すべての単語・すべてのステージ・すべての学習機能は、有料プランへの加入の有無にかかわらず利用できます。学習内容を加入者に限定することはありません。
- 価格および期間は、App Store 上の購入画面に表示されるものが適用されます。
4. 自動更新と解約方法
サブスクリプションは、現在の期間が終了する 24 時間前までに解約されない限り、同一の期間・条件で自動的に更新され、更新時に課金されます。解約は、iOS の「設定」＞ ご自身の Apple アカウント ＞「サブスクリプション」（または App Store のアカウント設定）から行ってください。アプリ内で解約手続きを行うことはできません。解約後も、購入済みの期間が終了するまではご利用いただけます。
5. 返金
返金は Apple の App Store のポリシーに従います。当社が直接返金対応を行うことはありません。
6. 広告
本アプリは、無料でご利用いただくために広告を表示することがあります。有料プランにご加入中は広告を表示しません。広告に関する情報の取り扱いはプライバシーポリシーに定めます。
7. 学習データの取り扱い
- 学習の進捗・習熟度・獲得した★・XP・ストリークなどのデータは、利用者の端末内にのみ保存されます。当社のサーバーへ送信されることはありません。
- そのため、本アプリを削除すると学習データも失われます。端末を機種変更した場合も、学習データは引き継がれません。
- 当社は、利用者の端末内のデータの復元に応じることができません。
8. 学習内容について
本アプリが収録する語彙・訳・例文は、学習を目的として作成したものです。正確を期していますが、内容の完全性・正確性を保証するものではなく、試験の合否や特定の学習成果を保証するものでもありません。誤りにお気づきの場合は、アプリ内の「問題を報告する」からお知らせください。
9. 知的財産権
本アプリおよび本アプリに含まれるプログラム、語彙データ、文章、画像、キャラクターに関する権利は、当社または正当な権利者に帰属します。私的利用の範囲を超えて複製・転載・配布することはできません。
10. 禁止事項
- 本アプリのリバースエンジニアリング、逆コンパイル、改変を行うこと。
- 収録データの抽出・複製・再配布、および商用利用を行うこと。
- 不正な手段で成績・報酬・購入状態を操作すること。
- 法令または公序良俗に違反する行為、当社または第三者の権利を侵害する行為。
11. 免責事項
本アプリは現状有姿で提供されます。当社は、通信環境、端末の状態、外部サービスの障害に起因して生じた損害について、法令で義務付けられる範囲を除き責任を負いません。
12. サービスの変更・中断・終了
当社は、本アプリの内容を変更し、または提供を中断・終了することがあります。サブスクリプションの提供を終了する場合は、App Store を通じて適切に対応します。
13. 規約の変更
本規約は必要に応じて改定します。重要な変更を行う場合は、本ページまたはアプリ内で告知し、告知日以降に効力を発生させます。変更後に本アプリの利用を継続した場合、改定に同意したものとみなします。
14. 準拠法・管轄
本規約は日本法に準拠し、本アプリに関して紛争が生じた場合は、東京地方裁判所を第一審の専属的合意管轄裁判所とします。

Pentan Terms of Service

1. Application
These terms set out the conditions for using the iOS app "Pentan" (the "App") provided by appful Inc. ("we", "us"). By using the App you agree to these terms.
2. Accounts
No account is required to use the App. We do not create accounts based on your name or email address. Your learning records are stored on your device — see the Privacy Policy for details.
3. Subscription
- The App offers an auto-renewable subscription. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store.
- The subscription provides ad-free use, removal of the waiting time for lives (the attempts used to start a lesson, which also refill over time for free users), and periodic streak freezes.
- Every word, every stage, and every learning feature is available whether or not you subscribe. We do not lock learning content behind the subscription.
- The price and period that apply are the ones shown on the purchase screen in the App Store.
4. Auto-renewal and cancellation
The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and is charged at renewal. Cancel in iOS Settings › your Apple Account › Subscriptions (or in your App Store account settings); cancellation is not possible inside the App. You keep access until the period you have already paid for ends.
5. Refunds
Refunds follow Apple's App Store policy. We do not issue refunds directly.
6. Advertising
The App may show advertising so that it can be used for free. No ads are shown while a subscription is active. How advertising data is handled is described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Your learning data
- Progress, mastery, stars, XP, and streaks are stored only on your device and are never sent to our servers.
- Consequently, deleting the App deletes your learning data, and the data does not transfer when you change devices.
- We are unable to restore data held on your device.
8. Learning content
The vocabulary, translations, and example sentences in the App are provided for study purposes. While we aim for accuracy, we do not warrant that the content is complete or error-free, and we do not guarantee any particular learning outcome or exam result. If you find a mistake, please use "Report a problem" in the App.
9. Intellectual property
The App and its software, vocabulary data, text, images, and characters belong to us or to the respective rights holders. They may not be copied, republished, or distributed beyond private use.
10. Prohibited conduct
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, or modifying the App.
- Extracting, copying, redistributing, or commercially exploiting the bundled data.
- Manipulating scores, rewards, or purchase status by unfair means.
- Anything unlawful, contrary to public order, or infringing our rights or those of a third party.
11. Disclaimer
The App is provided as is. Except to the extent required by law, we are not liable for damages caused by network conditions, the state of your device, or failures of third-party services.
12. Changes to the service
We may change, suspend, or discontinue the App. If we discontinue the subscription we will handle it appropriately through the App Store.
13. Changes to these terms
We may revise these terms. Significant changes will be announced on this page or in the App and take effect from the announcement date. Continuing to use the App after that means you accept the revision.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of Japan, and the Tokyo District Court shall have exclusive jurisdiction of the first instance over any dispute concerning the App.
